The name
Arno, Miemie & Karien
ARMIKA is a family name of sorts — it combines the names of the owners' children: Arno, Miemie and Karien. It is a name that carries a sense of belonging into every stay.
2006
A white sandbank
In 2006, when the Vet River was nearly empty, a beautiful white sandbank was revealed. It seemed the perfect place for a picnic spot. That idea eventually developed into a game camp — a place for wildlife, open space and time together.

Nature, at your own pace
Today Armika offers four self-catering chalets, a communal kitchen, living and dining areas, two braai areas, a lapa and a swimming pool — all within a setting of bushveld, river scenery and wildlife.
